This match looks like a mismatch on paper. Carlsen will not be able to match Almagro's mobility and precise ground strokes. I have Almie as a 250 favorite and when I saw this number I unloaded on all my outs. If this goes 4 sets I will be surprised.

He has played 14 matches on hard courts in his career, compared to 122 on clay! This year he is 4-4 on hard courts but has not one a first round match, all those 4 wins came in qualifying. And those 8 opponents he has faced have been mediocre players to put it nicely.

Unlike Almagro, Carlson's fav surface is hard and despite his poor 8-12 mark this year all those losses have come against real competition.

Should also point out Almagro does not like to travel abroad. Notice he has not bothered to play in any of the hard court events in the US before this major.

I say its a toss up, don't know where you're coming from saying he should be a big fav.

Almagro has been gearing up for this tourney. Identity I have sent it in with all my outs and play as much as you can afford. "HPark" you have some good points but I know for sure this one is a winner. I do not like any other match this morning but I might have something later. I am really confident on this play "Idenity".
